Hey you,
I hope you are doing fine.
Okay so winged liners are everywhere, they have literally taken over the social media and makeup world- Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, you name it and it is there.
As per me, I cannot wing it right the first time, not a pro at it yet. As I was trying to wing it with my favorite Lakme Absolute Shine Liquid Eye Liner, I was making a big mess. And that is when I realized that I can put an eyeliner that hardly does the job, to good use.
How you ask? I’ll tell ya……
Backstory- So I bought the ADS Dynamic Liquid Eye Liner mainly because of the pen style, the tip was sharp and I thought it would be easy to work with. But this product disappointed me to whole another level. I swatched it on my hand, it came out just fine dark black but when I applied it on my eye, NOTHING poof!! It was so light, barely visible and it’s not at all smudge free and stays for the shortest time. And hence, I went back to my Lakme Absolute eyeliner which is amazing. On point color, staying power, and everything, I love it. I was just having trouble using it to make the wing part.
Now on to how I do my winged liner- I make the wing with the ADS Dynamic eyeliner, it’s very easy to erase so there’s room for mistakes without creating a big mess. Plus, it gives me a sharp line because of the pen-tip. Once I have my outline ready and I am happy with how it looks, I just top it off with Lakme Absolute and I get a perfect pitch-black winged liner that I aim for. 😀

This way, I re-used my eyeliner that I thought was money down the drain. Let me know what do you think about this trick? If you have any little hacks or cheats like this, make sure you share with me in comments down below.
